Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams struggled in various different schools, as a result he was eventually tutored by his father and aunt. Eventually he earned a legitimate diploma from Mrs. Kate M. Wilkins private School that was equal to completing the eighth grade. At the age of four he wound up in the middle of an aftershock earthquake after the great fire and earthquake of 1906 in San Francisco. It threw him to the ground, permanently scaring his nose. In 1907 his family fortune collapsed. But he always found solitude outside in nature. Photography was not the only thing he had a passion for, his first desired occupation was to be musician. He spent most of his childhood playing the piano, practicing the discipline it took. In 1927, Adams made his first visualized photograph of Monolith, the Face of the Half Dome. It was one of his most famous photograph.
I love this black and white shot because it has a really dark cloud of water that blocks out the sun, making everything seem darker. It's like black cloud surrounded by different grays and it goes to together very well.

Favorite Found Face
Splash! Mud exploded from the puddle as I jumped in. I chuckled and searched for another. Splash! Another puddle disturbed. Quickly I rose and slid through some mud. I laughed with excitement and admired my messy clothes. I was caked in mud and soaked to the bone. I glanced at the clock in one of the classes surrounding the muddy courtyard to check the time. It was already 9! Quickly I dug myself a hole to sit in and covered myself with mud but left my face afloat so that I could breathe. A minute went by then suddenly the bells screeched that it was time to release the children. They were so loud and gross. Some even stepped on my face! But I dared not to move. I couldn't let them see me. So I waited for the little creatures to get to get to there next holding cell. When they were gone I slowly rose to see if they were gone. When I was sure I finally got up and went back to doing what I liked best! Sliding in the mud and collecting it! I did it every day! I use to to do it with my family but they were no longer with me. The "teachers" of this school aren't really teachers. They're really troll hunters. They built the school here because this is where my family lived. The school was just a cover up, they really just wanted to be rid of my family, the Mud Trolls. I don't know why though, we never did anything. I mean sure we eat everyone's dirt and some children if we get hungry for desert, but that's it! But despite that the hunters killed all of my family. I was the only one left, Little Mudford. Ever since they got my mother I've had to defend myself on my own. But luckily trolls are known to have secret abilities to defend themselves or to hunt prey. I can camouflage myself. I guess that's why I've lived this long. My special talent has helped survive long enough to complete the job my mother gave me. When the hunters came my family was angered so we created a plan to collect as much mud as we could, and then dump it on the head hunter. Yes, it would make him all dirty and squished. Humans hate to be squished and dirty! So I've been here for many years trying to collect all this mud. And today was the day I will hatch my evil plot on him! So sneakily I crept into the C building. The building they kept there troll catapults. C for catapults? Anyway, got to the headhunters office where he made his evil schemes to get me. His used flash shooters and strange boxes that had infinite knowledge. His evil sorcery had no end. With one great swing of my hand I smashed the door down and rushed inside. The hunter was already ready ready for me with his flash shooter. I rose up to my full height of two hunters and regurgitated the mud from my stomach that I had held in so long for him. The hunter fell, squished and muddy. I felt my families praise despite there absence. I stared at the hunter for a few moments and then left the evil room. I went back to doing what I loved most. Playing in the mud.

Panorama
I love the landscape and horizon of this picture. The darker right side of the picture gives it this negative shadow effect and then as you look left its bright and pretty.
I really like this picture cause of the sun and sky. The sun hits the camera in a way that you cant just see the shape of it, its just this shining light. The sky is blue and the valley is really and it just goes deeper the picture shows.
I like the color in the horizon and the icy mountain landscape. The man off to the left makes the picture a rule of thirds.
